BIM & VR services for Doha Port Re-development

Description

Modelical has revised, reviewed, amended, and completed Design Project existing BIM models to fulfill the following scope:

• Coordination review: Ensuring models are correct and represent a feasible assembly.
• Clash detection: Raising the miscoordinations between different trades for design adjustment.
• Facades design update and BIM modelling.
• Interactive walk-through, report of comments, and interactive selection of materials.

BIM content creation Doha Port area has an extension of 4 x 3.5km and include:

• Mina District: Mixed use including Retail, F&B, Hotel with village tipology.
• Garden South and Garden North: Landscaped area with playgrounds, parking lots and fishing cabanas.
• Sport Marina: Shipping and boat activities with small buildings.
• Iconic Hotel: Tall building tipology.
• Amiri Yatch Area.
• Cruise Terminal.
• Viewing Terraces.

Modelical works have focused on the Mina District including elements for all disciplines at LOD 300.
