Footbridges over Rimac river in Perú

Collaboration with CESMA Ingenieros

We worked together with Cesma Ingenieros in the project of four new footbridges over the Rimac river in Lima. The different footbridges have similar geometric characteristics, being the main span a steel Bowstring with a composite deck. These similarities between the different footbridges allowed us to develop a parametric model to obtain the geomety of each footbridge in a fast and accurate manner.

It was also possible to obtain the XYZ position of the representative points for the Building Surveying with high precission, stablishing control procedures to assure the accuaracy of the results.

Furthermore, the detailed model allowed to obtain the exact position and form of the plates at the complex nodes.

Finally, render images were obtained by including the site into the model.
