Modelical selected as BIM Implementation Partner and Technical Office Provider for the Construction of the New ÃŽle-aux-Tourtes Bridge in Montreal
A multi-year project supported by comprehensive BIM services for design and construction.
Modelical, a pioneering firm in Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology, today announced its appointment by Groupe Nouveau Pont ÃŽle-aux-Tourtes inc., composed by Dragados Canada inc., Roxboro Excavation inc. and Construction Demathieu & Bard (CDB) inc. as the BIM Implementation Partner and Technical Office Provider for the construction of the new ÃŽle-aux-Tourtes bridge.
The new bridge will be constructed to the north of the existing structure, connecting the village of Senneville to Vaudreuil-Dorion via the Félix-Leclerc Highway (Highway 40), replacing the former bridge commissioned in 1965 that had reached its operational lifespan.
Selected for its demonstrated BIM expertise from numerous large projects around the world and recent ones across Montreal, Modelical is positioned to ensure the project’s alignment with the latest BIM advancements.
